MODES OF SPREAD
- Enter the body through the feet by penetration of skin
- Transmitted by direct ingestion of contaminated fruits and vegetables
SYMPTOMS
- Itching and redness of the skin where the larvae penetrated (commonly the feet).
- Dry cough, blood-tinged sputum, wheezing and a low-grade fever when patient got infection of lungs
- loss of appetite, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and anemia when infects the intestines
PREVENTION
- Prevent usage of raw feces or untreated sewage as fertilizer by the farmer
- Promoting the low cost excreta disposal systems to prevent the soil contamination
