MODES OF SPREAD

• Enter the body through the feet by penetration of skin
• Transmitted by direct ingestion of contaminated fruits and vegetables

SYMPTOMS

• Itching and redness of the skin where the larvae penetrated (commonly the feet).
• Dry cough, blood-tinged sputum, wheezing and a low-grade fever when patient got infection of lungs
• loss of appetite, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and anemia when infects the intestines

PREVENTION

• Prevent usage of raw feces or untreated sewage as fertilizer by the farmer
• Promoting the low cost excreta disposal systems to prevent the soil contamination
