The drug belongs to 5-nitroimidazole, effective in intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis, trichomoniasis or bacterial vaginosis with a single once only dose.

Dosage
Intestinal amoebiasis & Giardiasis: 1 day treatment ( Adults 2 gms, Children 30mg/kg body weight) as single dose.

Contra- Indications: Pregnancy, Lactation, Hypersensitivity
